A Studio Tale

For the past 30 years, I've been devoted to music, starting with tinkering in my teens, to recording in some of Vancouver's top studios. In 2023, D. Klenner built a studio in our bunkhouse, and we're sharing this creative space with the world.

My mother was a radio engineer, my father was a radio DJ

From an early age, music took hold of me. Hours spent under a mixing board became my foundation. In my teens, I began recording, and piecing together the puzzle of sound production. This passion led me to some of Vancouver's renowned recording studios, where I honed my skills and found my voice.

Meeting D. Klenner was another fork in the long and winding road. He's been a mentor, and friend. Under his guidance, I've deepened my understanding of recording and producing music, in the studio he built in our bunkhouse.

Now, after years of learning and growth, I'm ready to share my passion with the world. Bunkhouse Studio is becoming a haven for musicians and artists, a place where ideas are free to roam. It's more than just a studio; it's a testament to a creative community, and the love of the people who call Pender Island home.
